What is Marketing, and why does any company need it? 

Marketing is the process of communicating the value of your product or service to your customer.

Without marketing your customer is not aware of your product or service. It is mastering the art of persuasion; persuading customers to use your products or services rather than your competitors.

Marketing has always been around but as humans evolve, so does marketing.  The principles however remain the same.

There isn't a one-for-all marketing plan. Every business is different and the marketing plan has to be applicable to your customers, budget and business requirements.
